He completed his post-graduation from the Guahati University of Guahati in the year 1964 and the completed his PhD from the University of Manchester is 1977. Finally, he completed his LLB degree in 1982 from Guahati University. Despite being offered good jobs and a chance to remain in UK, he came back to India and took up the job of teaching in Cotton College in 1966. He retired from the college as a professor and the head of the department in Chemistry in 1999. Eventually, he joined the Guahati High court is 2003 and is a founder member of the Guahati High Court Advocate Association. He is also a member of Cotton College Retired Teacher’s Forum. In his book INDIA & THE GLOBE (N), he has tried to portray the human reaction and suffering regarding the war and various holocausts.

Though his book is titled INDIA & THE GLOBE (N), it is not merely a reading of the various such situations and the mentality of rioting people all over the world. Rather it is a methodical reading of various incidents and along with that, it is also a genuine attempt to understand the whole thing a lot better. As, the author has spent his time in a state which has been torn apart with various such situations since the partition, it has become rather easy for him to understand the matter. Being a professor of chemistry, he has been able to analyze the condition with much more logic than others.
As he has been in tow completely different spheres of life professionally and personally, it has become rather easy for him to deduce the situations and understand and analyze them. He has done that with complete logic and with some help from the legal point of view. In his book INDIA & THE GLOBE (N), he has explained the political situation of a place or country after the holocaust and the condition and reaction of the people of that place from certain point of views. Needless to mentions, that, the book will be an interesting read, because of the experience and style of writing of the author.
