Isis Ob/Gyn Opens New Location Bringing Menopause, Adolescent Specialist To Johns Creek, GA

ALPHARETTA, Ga. - June 24, 2013 - PRLog -- This month, ISIS OB/GYN moves from a previously shared location to a new office that is conveniently located two blocks from Emory Johns Creek Hospital. Now women will have quick access to obstetric care as well as a certified women’s health practitioner specializing in menopause and adolescent medicine.

Dr. Hughan Frederick, board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, specializes in high risk prenatal care, bariatric obstetrics, heavy menstruation cycles, feminine complications, and maintains one of the lowest c-section rates in the North Fulton area. He will continue services at both Emory Johns Creek and North Fulton Hospitals.

Colleen Chace Gardner, a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, is a certified menopause specialist who assists with hormone replacement therapy, bio-identical hormones, fatigue and low libido among other topics. Collen also has a unique background in adolescent medicine and consults with young girls across a broad range of concerns faced during puberty and into their teen years. Atlanta women who choose ISIS will now also be able to get an immediate appointment addressing these concerns or any other gynecological needs.

Certified nurse midwives, Kim Storey and Beverly Tanner, will continue seeing mothers who are looking for natural birth experiences including water births, VABCs, Bradley and Hypnobirthing methods at the Alpharetta office. The midwives will continue to deliver their mothers at North Fulton Hospital taking advantage of the water birthing tubs, experienced natural labor nursing staff and a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
