Netwise Hosting Boosts Resilience and Uptime Guarantee at it's South London Data Centre

SURREY, U.K. - June 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Award-winning data centre owner and operator Netwise Hosting has this week announced an increase to it’s uptime guarantee, taking the figures quoted in the company’s enterprise SLA up to ‘four nines’ [99.99%] across the board.

This announcement comes to life after the lighting of additional fibre into the facility, improved BGP routing, the installation of a new Rolls Royce generator set and further improvements to the core of the facilities Cisco network.

As a result of these enhancement works, connectivity at the organisations South London data centre has reached a new level of diversity this June, with a brand new fibre leg from BT which runs directly into Telehouse North where it joins Netwise Hosting’s existing and ever expanding 40/100GigE infrastructure. This new route out of the building is said to “improve both failover resilience and total capacity” at the Sutton data centre, and will “add to the company’s already impressive service flexibility”, says Matthew Butt, Managing Director.

Though uninterruptable power at NH:DC1 has “always been very well catered for from day one”, Matthew went on to say that “the new Rolls Royce generator set demonstrates the company’s on-going and unfaltering commitment to improving the facility - and thereby services - wherever possible”.

Matt Seaton, Senior Manager at Netwise Hosting, gave further comment on the new generator.

“Our data centre is our biggest asset. This new generator is highly efficient, quiet in operation and very compact, which is very much in line with the way we do things here. If we can improve the facility in any way, then we will always endeavour to do so. We want to be the best at what we do, which is why we leave no stone unturned in our quest for constant improvement. June has also seen the management team at Netwise Hosting announce earnings projections for 2013 which look to exceed targets, as well as being shortlisted for the ‘Best Green Business Award’ at the South London Business Awards in July.
