RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. - June 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Ridgefield Park, New Jersey (June 18, 2013) – Samsung Techwin America’s Electronic Imaging Division (samsungpresenterusa.com), a leader in document camera technology, today announced the five high school students who have each won $1,000 scholarships from Samsung Techwin by answering the question – What do you think about technology advancements and how they will change the way we learn in the future?  “I am so impressed with the level of intelligence and creativity in the entries we received,” said Richard Bellomy, V.P. of Sales for Samsung Techwin’s Electronic Imaging Division.  “The common theme illustrated the importance of technology in the classroom, and the anticipation and excitement for the technology of our future.”

The papers were judged on original thinking, relevance to the real world, and writing quality.  One winning essay theorizes that because today’s technology has mastered computations, it enables humans to further develop where they excel, in creativity and innovation.  Another speaks about the value of technology and the positive impact it has made within education on people with special needs, balancing the classroom setting.  One student compared school to playing a video game.  These are just a few topics that show the inspiration and imagination behind this year’s entries.  Please visit samsungscholarship.com to read the 2013 winning essays.
