PHILADELPHIA - June 18, 2013 - PRLog -- A film company will be using Chester County and the Coatesville area for a police TV mini-series called “Peace-by-Piece.” MAJA Pictures selected the Coatesville area for filming of the fictional police drama. Filming of the show is set to begin Aug. 12 to 17. The promotional footage for the mini-series was filmed Saturday. The first location used the West Brandywine Police Department. The crew went to Wayne for a second filming location.Ozzie Feliciano is directing the police drama mini-series. He also wrote the fictional screenplay. He has a background in law enforcement. He is a former decorated Philadelphia police officer. The fictional plot revolves around a Coatesville’s police detective, played by actress Rose Iebba. She is supposed to be a direct descendant of the city’s racist founder. The detective’s father, played by Kenneth John McGregor (Blindside) is an influential figure in the history of Coatesville’s politics. He imposes his own radical community views in order to advance his own agenda. Kersey investigates what appears to be a random act of violence against the city’s beloved African American state representative and his wife after they are both found dead in a remote field, Feliciano said.
