FARNBOROUGH, U.K. - July 1, 2013 - PRLog -- The Futurecom™ shielded cabling solution from Corning is available from CMS plc. This is a fully compliant Category 6A solution with extra performance margin at an affordable price. The solution has been designed to provide a universal cabling solution for Ethernet, VoIP, telephone, IPTV and will also support Power over Ethernet (PoE) and Power over Ethernet Plus. At the heart of the solution is the Futurecom™ xs500 fully shielded Cat6A jack which has been designed with flexibility and ease of use in mind. The jack meets all the Cat6A component and permanent link specifications as well as the Class EA channel specification supporting 10GBase-T requirements up to 100 metres. This two-piece jack has an integral dust cover to prevent dust ingress when the port is unused and has a keystone footprint ensuring its compatibility with a wide range of outlets and patch panels. The jack needs no special tools for installation and will accommodate both F/FTP cable and S/FTP cable making it extremely versatile and appropriate for the most demanding applications.
The complete solution comprises the Futurecom™ xs500 jack, horizontal cable, patch panels, patch cables and wall outlets and is available with a 25 year extended warranty via certified installers.
