Domestic Violence survivor launches National Empowerment Tour in Dallas, Texas

SAN DIEGO - June 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Four years ago, Margie Garcia’s life turned into a nightmare and lost everything. Experiencing domestic violence in a past relationship and severe bullying. It started with a slap, losing her career, and success. Shocked, heartbroken, and devastated. Margie knew, for the safety of her kids and herself, she had to leave. With only the suitcase full of clothes and the money she had in her wallet, upon receiving permission from the court she gave up the entertainment business; moved back to Texas and never looked back, so she and her son’s can begin their healing. Today with the support of her church Cornerstone of San Diego their Pastors Sergio and Georgina De LaMora has helped her regain her faith, hope, and believe to rebuild their lives, as a single parent. Margie Garcia's testimony will give other's hope to overcome adversity.

Margie Garcia a native of Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas; recently accepted the position as the delegate of United Nations in association with San Diego and National speaker for RAINN. Her son’s, The Garcia 3: Three Southern California-born and raised brothers who released their first CD original single about a year ago, “All around the World” on iTunes and Reverbnation. Juan (11), Hector, (9), and Angel (7) Garcia have been featured in numerous movies, commercials, and ads in their short entertainment careers; seen on the “Little Fockers” movie, Toys R Us and Kraft Singles commercials, Ross print ads, Nickelodeon shows, and most recently newly release Sign of the Dragon. Now, years later, she lives in a safe and peaceful home with her 3 boys, works as a nurse, attends graduate school, operates multiple companies, active community leader, and dedicates her life empowering other women and girls.

Margie has collaborated with other women to create the National Empowerment Tour for women and girls. And since Dallas/Fort Worth is her hometown… she’s launching the seminar, their first and bringing the Empowerment conference back to her son’s hometown San Diego, California. It’s been Margie’s dream to provide guidance, hope, and healing to women and girls in the Nation. And now her vision is taking flight and spreading its wings!
