JFYNetWorks will present the results of their ACCUPLACER Prep program at Amarillo's Caprock HS
By: JFYNetWorks "After Caprock Comes College" is the motto of Caprock High School. The Amarillo Independent School District encourages all students to aspire to college. District leaders recognize the barrier posed by developmental courses. After a national search, the school brought JFYNetWorks into Amarillo to help overcome that barrier. JFY's track record and hands-on professional development and support were the deciding factors. "JFYNetWorks is one of the most impressive companies I've ever worked with," says Caprock Principal Dr. Dana West. " Most companies sell you a product and run. JFY stays with you, in person and online and on the phone, and helps your staff figure out how to use the program to get the most out of it that your students are capable of. The communication and follow up and just being with us are excellent. Every bit of feedback I've gotten from my staff has been positive. They're really helping us send our graduates to college able to compete." JFYNetWorks conducts ACCUPLACER preparation programs in three states and the District of Columbia. Caprock is JFY's first partner in Texas. The presentation is at 10:15 on Saturday, June 29, in Villa. It is titled ACCUPLACER/MyFoundationsLab Works! Presenters will be Program Manager Derek Kalchbrenner and Executive Director Gary Kaplan of JFYNetWorks and Senior Assessment Manager Keith Henry of the College Board.
