The Rainmaker Group Earns Distinction as One of the Top 40 Fastest Growing Companies in Georgia

ATLANTA - June 12, 2013 - PRLog -- The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Atlanta released its list of the Georgia Fast 40 for 2013, and The Rainmaker Group is among this year’s distinguished group of companies contributing to the overall health and recovery of Georgia’s economy as a whole.  

This is the fifth year for the Georgia Fast 40 award competition, which honors companies for achieving sustained growth.  Growth is measured objectively based on revenue and employment, whether achieved organically or through acquisition.  Approximately 100 companies with headquarters in Georgia submitted applications, and the Top 40 companies are categorized into two groups, ranging in annual revenue from $15 to $60 million (Lower-Middle Market) and from $60 to $500 million (Upper Middle-Market). Collectively, this year’s finalists increased revenue from $1.4 to $3.3 billion and added 12,000 new jobs, topping last year’s impressive results.

Later this summer, Rainmaker will learn whether it has made the Inc. 500|5000 list of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies in America for a third consecutive year.  Inc.’s annual list represents the most comprehensive look at a critical segment of the American economy: independent entrepreneurs.

The ACG Atlanta will hold its 2013 reception and awards dinner and gala at the Intercontinental Hotel Buckhead on June 13 to honor this year’s Georgia Fast 40 companies.
