Metropolitan State University of Denver Foundation Names Jim Mulligan As Chair of Board

DENVER - June 10, 2013 - PRLog -- The Metropolitan State University of Denver Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit, direct-support corporation. Incorporated in 1965, the Foundation was created exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes to benefit the University and its students. Its mission is to promote the development and general welfare of the University by receiving, investing and administering private support.

Mulligan's practice focuses on single- and mixed-use real estate developments, public/private partnerships, government relations, affordable housing and sustainable community governance. He has been appointed special deputy attorney general representing the Colorado Division of Housing in finance transactions. In March 2011, he was named one of Law Week Colorado’s 10 Lawyers of the Decade. Mulligan graduated from the University of Denver College of Law and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a bachelor’s degree in English. He has served on boards of numerous nonprofit organizations, including the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation, the Aurora Economic Development Council, and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, Inc.
