Lancaster County, PA (June 5, 2013) – Coldwell Banker Select Professionals proudly announced a collaboration with Lancaster County Career & Technology Center (LCCTC) to market one of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania’ The home, a ranch-style design with energy-efficient Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) construction, will be featured in the 2013 Lancaster Parade of Homes, set to run June 15-23. Following the Parade event the home will be available to show by appointment with the listing agent, Kate Duke of the Lancaster Sales office (717-283-7688) 590 Old Market Street in Mount Joy is the third home of four slated in the community named “Apprentice Green”, planned from the outset to be a model of advanced building techniques, sustainable design and energy efficiency. Project manager Michael Dodson led a construction team of school instructors and students in the building trades with the generous help of many donors of materials and time. The completed home has numerous green features such as rainwater catchment systems, solar hot water, advanced framing and air-sealing techniques and much more. A special recognition reception is slated for Thursday, June 13th from 5-7 pm at the home to honor the students, faculty and donors to the project.
