Prevendra's Burgess To Participate in Suits & Spooks

SEATTLE - June 4, 2013 - PRLog -- (Woodinville, WA) On 15 and 16 June 2013, Christopher Burgess, Prevendra (http://prevendra.com/)'s President and co-founder, will be participating in two panel discussions at Taia Global's Suits & Spooks (http://www.taiaglobal.com/suits-and-spooks-la-jolla-2013/) conference in La Jolla, CA.  The first panel, which occurs on 15 June 2013 discusses "The importance of international collaboration in identifying and interdicting non-state hacker groups" can be expected to be a fulsome discussion given the identified participants include senior personnel from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, a member of the global research and analysis team from Kaspersky Labs,  NSI's Public Safety and Homeland Security managing director and Prevendra's Christopher Burgess.  

"Collaboration across national boundaries to address the common threat from the non-state cyber ne'er-do-wells is critical to arrival at a solution.  I continue to be surprised by the lack of realization as to how well these criminal elements are educated and resourced," said Burgess.  The second panel discussion will be on 16 June 2013 and will be "Q&A: How far can an enterprise go in "hacking back?"

This panel, moderated by Jeffery Carr (CEO of Taia Global) will include personnel from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Kaspersky Labs, NSI's Public Safety and Homeland Security, CEO of Crowdstrike, Senior analyst from Wikistrat and Prevendra's Burgess.
