WEST WARWICK, R.I. - June 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Zombies start. Humans finish.

For years, the human race has been yearning to turn into zombies, always seemingly forgetting that there is no way to turn back to human form, thus enabling the “zombie apocalypse.” Zombies Got Guts has figured out the antidote and will be giving it to those participating in a 3K obstacle race at Fort Adams in Newport, RI on August 25, 2013 in a charity event hosted by Punks for a Princess and Hallowed Entertainment benefitting A Wish Come True and the Fort Adams land trust. Zombies will arrive at Fort Adams at 7 am for registration and the first wave back to human form begins at 9 am. Participants must be 18 or older to race.

The 3K race will consist of ten obstacles, testing the skills, strength and patience of each zombie. A portion of the antidote will be given after each completed obstacle. If all ten obstacles aren’t completed, participants could remain zombies forever, unless they buy their way out with a sizable donation to the event! The obstacles will be announced soon after July 4, 2013.

Registration is only $40 during the month of June, so be sure to sign up early. All nombies (non-zombies) are welcome to watch the race for $10. There will be live music, food, a beer tent and sponsor booths. Sponsor booths are still available. Though the race is 18+, this is an event for the entire family. Fort Adams is a beautiful area with a great ocean view. Tours of Fort Adams are being offered from 10 am – 4 pm.
