Walk-in, value-oriented pet clinic coming to West Knoxville

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - May 21, 2013 - PRLog -- You consider your pet a member of your family, and want the best care available when it becomes ill. Now you can find your pet health partners at Easy Vet Clinic, opening in Knoxville in June.

Easy Vet Clinic will offer fast, affordable and reliable service at a convenient West Knox location.

Easy Vet Clinic, 7329 Kingston Pike, will provide walk-in, value-oriented care, similar to a minute clinic or take care clinic, utilizing technology to increase efficiency and decrease costs — getting your pet the care it needs, quickly.

“We’ll offer convenient service that’s affordable,” said managing partner and owner Dr. Sam Meisler.

Easy Vet Clinic will offer preventative care such as vaccinations, monthly flea and heartworm preventatives and routine health check laboratory tests. Clinic staff also will treat minor ailments, such as ear infections or parasites, and will help you manage chronic disease, such as arthritis, epilepsy or allergies, in your pet.

“Easy Vet Clinic isn’t a full-service veterinary hospital,” Meisler said.

Pets with emergencies, trauma or serious diseases will be referred to other animal hospitals or emergency clinics for extended care.

Easy Vet Clinic is designed to provide swift, routine care for your animal.

At 600 square feet, Easy Vet Clinic offers not only quick service but ease of use for you and your pet.

Clients will walk in the Clinic at their convenience — no appointments necessary —and proceed through self-guided check-in kiosks, paying an initial exam fee and any known medication or service costs up-front. Additional costs will be calculated following a visit with a licensed veterinarian.

“It’s a very open concept, so from the waiting room you’ll be able to see all the way to the back. It won’t feel as anxious as being in a separate waiting room waiting for a doctor; you’ll actually see what’s going on,” Meisler said.

Meisler, who also owns the PetWellClinic and My Pet’s Animal Hospital, hopes to open Easy Vet Clinic in early June.

Easy Vet Clinic will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.
