BRANDON, Fla. - May 21, 2013 - PRLog -- May 21, 2013 — Recently, Don Fawcett, CEO of Local Clicks To Bricks, reviewed Google Hangouts as a marketing strategy and is announcing a new training session that teaches entrepreneurs how to use Hangouts to attract more customers.

Google announced Hangouts as part of their new social network Google Plus back in 2011. According to the article in Mashable (http://mashable.com/2013/05/09/google-hangouts-business/) , Google is citing Hangouts in their pitch to small businesses.

Hangouts is a video chatting platform that allows up to ten users to simultaneously chat. The number of people who can tune in is unlimited.

Don Fawcett commented, “Hangouts allows spontaneous interaction. Unlike YouTube, where everything is prerecorded, Hangouts give the users that live feeling. It creates a more personal experience for those who tune in.”

The Mashable article cites that Bakespace, a recipe sharing site that interacts with its users has already hosted about 40 Hangouts, with an average of 100 viewers per Hangout.

Fast Company (http://www.fastcompany.com/3009876/answer-these-3-questio...) published an article stating that when you enable the On Air feature so anyone online can watch your broadcast live, even if they're not on Google Plus.

Google states that users can also upload their content to YouTube afterward they’ve finished their Hangout.

Don Fawcett commented, “Facebook has video chat, but it’s a one-to-one platform using Skype technology. What hangouts allows you to do is broadcast your message to the world. This is a powerful platform that can be used by entrepreneurs and small businesses to engage their customers on a more personal level.”

Google states 135 million active users and as much as 500 million user pages.

Don Fawcett added, “Google Plus is growing faster than Facebook did. Facebook barely had 100 million users after its first four years. Google Plus has already surpassed that number and they’re not even two years old yet. I feel Hangouts will be a big part of the social landscape in the coming years, so we’re offering a training module (http://localclickstobricks.com/?p=295) to teach marketers the right way to use it to increase their business.”

Don Fawcett teaches basic business marketing principles and Internet marketing strategies to business owners and individuals alike. For more information visit http://www.localclickstobricks.com/
