| ModePharma Welcomes APL's Expansion Into The UK MarketSwedish Life Science Company Can Help With Projects That Others Cannot Handle, Says ModePharma Founder And Director Oliver Gupta
By: Carl Nagaitis, Bryher Business Partnership Ltd One of the leading contract manufacturers of pharmaceuticals in Scandinavia, APL has identified the UK as one of Europe’s biggest and most vibrant markets and is going ahead with plans to build its client base here, according to its Stockholm-based Life Science Business Development Manager Mattias Nystrom. Mr Gupta said his company, which provides medication and services for research organisations including universities and National Health Service Trusts, had worked with APL on a recent project. He said:”We found APL are able to help with projects that others can’t handle. Recently they produced a new vitamin D formulation for one of our clients. APL exceeded our expectations and completed the project on schedule and on budget. “In addition, we found they are capable of handling projects that others can’t do. Their experience in the sector and their knowledge of the clinical trials and research and development sector in particular are useful. “I would say there are some very good opportunities for companies like APL in helping businesses with similar needs to ours.” Lucy Robertshaw, the British businesswoman who is spearheading APL’s bid to offer its expertise to UK life-science companies said: “It is good news that APL are able to bridge the gap to help ModePharma, this clearly illustrates that our services are needed in the UK market.” Mr Nystrom, APL’s Life Science Business Development Manager, said: “APL is very pleased to have established this collaboration with ModePharma. In Sweden we work with the non-commercial clinical trials sector directly, so we are experienced in providing this kind of service. “Our collaboration with ModePharma is a true win-win for us, enabling us to focus on what we do best – delivering the required services.” For further information click onto: www.apl.se ENDS End
