Omar Kuddus: Linda Harvey fears advocacy websites will push gay porn and turn kids gay

May 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Linda Harvey of Mission America, a right wing Christian hate group, has a new concern.

This time she is worried that young people may be tricked by websites and other “homosexual news blogs” “that are sympathetic to the social and political goals of the homosexual movement” into becoming gay by putting them in close reach of “homosexual-themed pornography.” irrespective of the reason why they are on the sites.

Peddling gay pornography and turning kids gay:

Harvey warned that “Schools, Hollywood and even the top leaders in our country are all busy selling homosexuality to kids,” adding that pornography and other “deceptive influences” are also “convincing [kids] to believe they are gay.”

RightWingWatch reports that in her latest program,  Harvey asserts that parents should be aware that “homosexual-themed pornography is extremely accessible to young people if they ever visit any websites covering the gay agenda as news” and “if they ... visit these sites some will experience sexual feelings and mistake these for the pervasive fiction of some inborn gay identity.” and have the ability to “stir feelings in a young person that were not in play before.”

The Choice of Homosexuality:

Harvey concludes her program by arguing again that the notion that people do not choose to be gay is a “lie” and a “pervasive fiction.”

In April Harvey argued that marriage equality will ‘victimize’ children and put them at risk of ‘more disease, more anxiety, depression’
Harvey previously called (http://www.gaystarnews.com/article/mission-america%E2%80%...) upon the US Supreme Court should uphold a ban against marriage equality because gays, apparently are not real people but a ‘changeable behaviour’.

In August 2012 she accused Lady Gaga of turning kids gay – again and stated that the song Born This Way 'demonic' and her foundation 'total lies'
In the same month Harvey, who had previously warned families about letting their children visit gay doctors, released a guide for talking to kids about homosexuality which told kids that being gay is like being fat and ‘always wrong’ and why it helps the bullies if you tell kids being gay is a sin.

Harvey has even gone as far as stating in October 2012 that Halloween is so satanic it must be gay and condemned it as a satanic LGBT celebration.

Just how long is the LGBT community going to tolerate the hate and homophobia spewed by the likes of Linda Harvey and other American Hate groups?
