By: Toastmasters, District 83 During Cornelia’s workshop, you will learn how to best navigate through the interview process from the do’s and don’ts of a good resume to negotiating salary and an offer. Clearly define your skillset and confidently answer the dreaded question “tell me about yourself. “ You will be able to identify your strengths and weaknesses. The night before interview prep will help you be fully prepared and understand how to connect with the interviewer. Learn about buzz and power words. This workshop will be advantageous for new grads, those who English is a second language, shy people, the average job seeker, the very seasoned candidate, and those seeking supervisory or management positions. You will be empowered with job search tips that you can use throughout your entire career and come away from this workshop truly informed about interviewing and how to be the most distinguished candidate. About Cornelia Wright Cornelia Wright is an experienced seasoned nursing professional who has worked in many health care arenas. Her experience spans through various settings such as: hospitals in NYC, Long Term Care facilities NY and NJ, Assisted Living programs, Home Health care agencies, Occupational Health, Corporate, Insurance companies, Behavioral Health programs and currently the Recruitment industry. Cornelia has worked with patient populations from every walk of life and including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. She says, “I have helped babies come into this world and I have sat with people as they were leaving.” Currently, Cornelia is working for one of the largest recruitment firms in NYC as a full cycle Healthcare Recruiter. She initiates business development and has a renowned client base. She places Nurse Practitioners, RN's, LPN's and other healthcare professionals in full time permanent positions. Her objective is to make a difference in the healthcare arena by utilizing all of her experiences, coaching fellow nurses and healthcare professionals through their job search efforts, helping them be fully prepared for the interview process with guidance and advice on how to secure a job offer. Cornelia is the mother of three adult children, an active member of Toastmasters International with a Competent Communicator designation and has performed at Caroline's Comedy Club in Broadway in NYC.
