Law firm announces the passing of Senior Partner, Ray Goldstein

FORT MYERS, Fla. - May 10, 2013 - PRLog -- It is with heavy hearts that the members of the law firm of Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice and Purtz announce the passing of our senior attorney Ray Goldstein. He had been with the firm for over 40 years during which he served as Managing Attorney for 8 years.“Ray was the father figure for many of  us at the firm. He was one of the kindest most caring men we have ever known. We always knew that we could turn to Ray for wise insights regarding both business and personal matters. His patient yet diligent efforts on behalf of his clients benefited thousands of people over his long career in obtaining justice.” said Jeffrey Rice, current Managing Attorney for the Firm.
Ray Goldstein served his country in the US Air Force from 1951 until 1955. He moved to Fort Myers from Philadelphia in the 60's and immediately became actively involved in our growing community. He joined the firm in 1972 and was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. He was 81 when he died. “Ray was a perfect example for all of us to follow. He worked hard, both in the office and in the community. His efforts over the years were an important part of our growth. His thoughtful, caring and pursuit of fairness leadership skills will be missed by his family, his partners, employees, clients and friends," said Rice.
