Conicelli-sponsored Colonial Technology Student Association Wins Awards at State Conference

Budding scientists and technologists from Colonial School District perform well, win awards at Pennsylvania statewide competition

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. - May 8, 2013 - PRLog -- The Colonial Technology Student Association (TSA), a group of students from Colonial Middle School (http://hub.colonialsd.org/ourschools/CMS/Pages/default.aspx) and Plymouth Whitemarsh High School (http://hub.colonialsd.org/ourschools/PWHS/Pages/default.aspx) who focus on science and technology topics, produced projects that were submitted at the Pennsylvania TSA State Conference held April 18-21 at Seven Springs Conference Center, and won some impressive awards.

The students swept the top three places in the Biotechnology Design competition, and also were awarded first place honors for Engineering Design.

The Conicelli family and Conicelli Autoplex (http://www.conicelliautoplex.com) are pleased to have been among those in the community to help these scholars achieve their goals.

"We would not have been successful at the Pennsylvania TSA State Conference without the generous support you have provided us throughout," said Joseph Narke, Chapter Advisor of the Colonial TSA. "We deeply appreciate the willingness with which you have and continue to sponsor our efforts."

The group will now proceed to the TSA National Conference in Orlando, Fla. in late June, where they will again compete. More information about the TSA program can be found at the state (http://www.patsa.org/) and national (http://www.tsaweb.org/) websites.
