The article mentioned that the new Santa Fe sparked interest this year by selling 6,940 units, which is up 10 percent from last year. “April is always a transitional month going into our peak selling season and we were pleased with the strength that both the industry and our award-winning lineup of vehicles exhibited,” Executive Vice President of national sales, Dave Zuchowski stated in the article. According to the article, the Equus’ numbers remained tight due to the new 2014 model Equus arriving in showrooms later this month.

The article mentioned that Hyundai’s recently announced that three years of Hyundai Assurance Connected Care will come standard with all vehicles equipped with Blue Link starting May 16th, and they believe this will skyrocket numbers even more in the future. “Through the first four months of this year, HMA has shattered its all-time volume mark, and with strong economic signals, improving availability and a historically strong selling season directly in front of us, we fully expect to continue this record-setting trend for the first six months of the year,” said Zuchowski.
