13-Jan, stands for “Thirteen is Just a Number”. The idea behind 13-Jan is to encourage teens and tweens to be themselves, and to shed the stereotypical images of today's youth. Our message is to be unique, and stand out from the crowd. Be yourself, and don't ever change who you are. You are beautiful, just the way you are.

This is news because in this world of negative influences kids feel pressure from their peers and the media to grow up too fast and to take on emotions and experiences beyond their age. 13-Jan has a positive message to tween and teen girls to be themselves, respect themselves, have confidence in themselves, and take their time to grow up.

The purpose is to drive traffic to the website and to have parents give the information to their children and for children to find out about this excellent blog.
