Kennel Club Approves Cheshire Dog School For Good Citizen Dog Scheme Training

WARRINGTON, U.K. - May 6, 2013 - PRLog -- The change of name for the purposes of the scheme is solely for administrative purposes and ensures no confusion with other well respected providers of the GCDS training.

Dog trainers cannot provide the training without Kennel Club approval so this is another significant development in the continued success of Cheshire Dog School.

Co-owner Ami Sekhon said “Together with my business partner and co-owner Mike Markey, we are absolutely delighted to be approved for Good Citizen Dog Scheme training. We have already had a substantial take-up of our classes from both our current clients and new ones, as word spreads that we have been Kennel Club listed.
There are of course other reputable dog trainers operating the scheme across the region, but of course we hope that when dog owners do their homework, they will choose us for a variety of reasons.

We believe that the passion we have for training pets, mixed with a healthy balance of experience, qualifications and fun, make us the perfect choice for dog owners and dogs themselves.
The pass rate that our pupils have achieved so far is fabulous and a real testament to their commitment and their enjoyment of our classes.
We are always very open and honest about our training and our pupil’s success – we’d encourage people to look at our public facebook page (under “Cheshire Dog School”) and assess us for themselves. We are open to honest comment on there – there is no hiding place! Plus we have our pupils’ permission to share photos and videos of their training online, to encourage others to come and join the fun too!”

The spirit of the GCDS training is to help promote responsible dog ownership and so is a dog training scheme (the largest of its kind in the UK) for both dogs and their owners to participate in. Classes are fun, relaxed and friendly - a fabulous way for both dog owners and their dogs to socialise - and yet they maintain the focus of training the skills and techniques that will help the dogs evolve into happy, socialised and responsible good citizens.
As a result, the relationship between owner and their dog will blossom and grow - and in turn the wider community can also see the wonderful benefits of responsible dog ownership.
