PRLog -- With escalating tuition costs, pricey books, mounting living expenses and ever diminishing loans some students are finding hard to stay in school. Others, like Oskar Ono of York University just loves it. "It was a simple idea... if you put your head in reverse", Oskar declared. "Most people charge money for a product or service. Instead, I give away money for the service that I perform". Puzzling? Incomprehensible?
Yes, we have all heard about successful entrepreneurs giving away sizable chunks of their fortune. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for one distributes much of the Microsoft founder's fortune to charitable causes in developing countries. But making money by giving money away seems to be a contradiction of terms. Not so, says Oskar. "The only trick", he continued, "was to find the right platform to run my service on. I spent weeks on Google". With creative new web site ideas budding entrepreneurs can experiment for the right business fit, at a fraction of the traditional start-up cost. "When I discovered Fiverr I was instantly sold. If I could find a way to make money while helping my customers earn cash by simply connecting with me, I knew it would be successful", said Oskar whose website username is oskaro. The service provides instant cash for winners of a creativity competition. For a five dollars entrance fee competitors can submit their creative ideas daily and earn a 150% return every day of the week. That means a potential profit of over $50.00 per week. "Anyone can be a winner", laughs Oskar, "but you have to get up early".
