Casey Carr Earns GM Mark of Excellence Award

MUSKOGEE, Okla. - April 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Call it destiny, fate, or fortune, but Casey Carr was born to help customers find their new vehicle of their dreams.  It’s not a misprint, Casey’s last name suites him quite well, and he lives to please his customers.

Lake Country Chevrolet Cadillac in Muskogee, Oklahoma is proud to have Casey Carr as part of their team.  Carr has been selling cars for Oklahoma’s top Chevy dealership since February of 2011.  He makes the 40 mile trip to the Muskogee dealership every day in his 2012 Chevy Cruze.

It is no surprise that General Motors has honored Casey Carr with The GM Mark of Excellence.

To qualify for The GM Mark of Excellence a salesperson has to sell a minimum of 75 new vehicles.  They have to have an above average Consumer Service Index (CSI) score of 3.5 which is evaluated by a sample of General Motors customers.  Carr boasts a CSI score of 3.82.  In addition to sales excellence, Carr has to continue training with GM’s education program.  Most salesmen who are in contention for this award take about 25-35 test a year while Carr passes about 70 each year.  Not only does he take and pass these tests; he also receives “top honors” for each exam.  Carr is has been certified as a “Technology Expert” by General Motors.  With over 50,000 Chevrolet Salesman in the United States, Casey Carr is in the top 15%.

Carr has always had a strong work ethic since the time he was a young boy in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He graduated from Union High School and has son who will turn 6 in July.  Hey loves baseball, and plays competitive hockey across the country.  He goes out of the way to make sure his guest remember him like send birthday cards as well as thanking them each year of ownership of the car he sold to them.  His favorite part of the job is when he sees the happy expression on their faces as they sit in their new vehicle about to take off.

Casey not only is an owner of a Chevy because he “believes in the product he sells”, but he also has made some modifications to it as well.  His vehicle currently gets over 45 miles per gallon.  He cleans and washes his car 2-3 times a week, and looks forward to the next GM classes he can attend.
