Celebrating it's 2nd annual year, Go Green for Fashion NYC will feature live runway presentations, special live performances, and the entire evening is proud to benefit ProjectArt, an NYC-based free arts education organization that allows youth to create art without limits (www.projectart.org). The first 100 guests at Go Green for Fashion NYC will receive a complimentary timepiece from Sprout Watches (www.SproutWatches.com).

Sprout Watches is an eco-forward lifestyle brand, which utilizes the highest quality materials, while striving to protect the Earth’s natural resources. Constructed from sustainable elements such as corn resin, bamboo, cork, organic cotton, conflict free diamonds, mother of pearl and Swarovski’s Advanced Lead-Free crystal, Sprout Watches is setting the standard for eco-friendly, fashionable timepieces.

ProjectArt is an award-winning organization developing a new model of arts education, one that allows youth to actualize their artistic visions while building their self-esteem and advance as all-around achievers. In two years, ProjectArt’s year-round, after-school visual arts education program has served hundreds while it's advocacy initiative Walk the Talk, has brought awareness for the critical need of arts education, to hundreds of thousands of people. ProjectArt was founded by Adarsh Alphons in 2010.

In 2008, Sprout’s parent company utilized their 50 years of experience in watch making and set out to do something that hadn’t been done before. Their goal was to design the most eco-responsible watch possible while still offering styles that were fashionable, affordable and built to last. After two years of researching and testing earth-friendly components that were completely new to the watch world, the first line of Sprout Watches, with corn resin cases and buckles, bamboo dials, mineral-crystal lenses and organic-cotton straps, were launched Earth Day 2010. The collection was immediately met with acclamation and today Sprout has evolved into over 80 different styles for men, women and children that are stylish, water-resistant and affordable. The highly sought-after brand has been featured in: Oprah, Redbook, New York Post, Everyday with Rachael Ray, People StyleWatch, Real Simple and countless blogs, websites and TV segments.
