"Rumors" about Disney Star are Confirmed

Bill Chott, a St. Louis native who played "Mr. Laritate for 4 years on Disney's Wizards will appear at Central Methodist University's production of Neil Simon's "Rumors" on April 25, 26, 27 and 28th. Chott is a 1987 Ritenour Grad and 1991 Central Methodist alumni.

For the second year in a row, he's returning to his alma mater to perform and share with the theater students there. This is one of Neil Simon's lesser-known plays and one of his very few All Out Farces! Don't miss one of the very few chances to see this play.

The play will be at 7pm on April 25, 26, and 27th and 1:30pm on April 28th.

"I don't get a chance to do theater much in LA, so it's a real treat to be in a show that many people haven't seen," said Chott. "And I get to be of service to a school that means a lot to me."

Breif description of play:

At a large, tastefully appointed Sneden's Landing townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of Farce. Gathering for their tenth wedding anniversary, the host lies bleeding in the other room and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken and wife Chris must get "the story" straight before the ore guests arrive. As confusions and miscommunications mount, the evening spins off into classical farcical hilarity.
