Beansmith Coffee Places in Top Ten at SCAA National Event

OMAHA, Neb. - April 16, 2013 - PRLog -- Beansmith Coffee is proud to announce their Top Ten finish in the Roaster's Guild of America Roaster's Choice competition at last week's Specialty Coffee Association of America Event. From the semi-final round of 30 coffees,

Beansmith's offering from Arnulfo Leguizamo's farm (Finca La Primavera) in the Huila region of Colombia, was chosen as one of 10 winning coffees. The coffees were then brewed for the many attendees of the event and judged by a panel of experts. Lead roaster, Jason Burkum, said "This is the second year we’ve offered this farm’s beautiful coffee, and we are so proud to have been selected as one of the Top Ten. Arnulfo is an amazing cafetero, and we are so happy to be able to honor his work and have it recognized by the Roasters Guild."
