Myooh Turns to DynaScan High Brightness LCDs for Eurexpo Lyon Convention Center Modernization

LYON, France - April 16, 2013 - PRLog -- With the aim to improve navigation and information for its visitors, the Eurexpo Lyon exhibition center tasked digital signage integrator, Myooh, to conceive its new digital signage modernization. With eight halls covering an exhibition area of 120,000 m², Eurexpo Lyon welcomes approximately 1.5 million visitors every year. To accomplish this, Myooh installed DynaScan professional LCDs throughout the exhibition center, using a combination of wall mounted and free standing 47, 55 and 65-inch models within specially designed kiosks. Selected for their high quality, high brightness image and ease of installation, the DS47LT4, DS55LT4 and DS65LT4 displays produce a 2500 nit, sunlight readable, image and feature fanless thermal management designs.

The addition of the displays marks the exhibition center’s first foray into dynamic digital signage. The new digital signage replaces traditional paper signage which needed to be reprinted and replaced with every new event. Positioned throughout the exhibit center, the screens display information about the current exhibitions, seminars, and meetings planned in the different halls and meeting rooms. The screens are also used for sponsored advertising campaigns.

Named ‘Best New Indoor DS Display’ by rAVe [publications], DynaScan DS² LCDs feature the highest brightness ratings on the market. With brightness ratings as high as 5,000 nits, the displays produce a daylight viewable image, making them ideal for storefront windows, outdoor enclosures and other areas with high ambient light.
