Ru’s Policy is “Do Ask, Do Tell” On This Week’s Episode of RuPaul's Drag Race, Season 5

IBG Laboratories, The Makers of Colorevolution Cosmetics, is offering one contestant a lifetime supply of cosmetics to the next superstar on RuPaul’s Drag Race, Season 5.

CORONA DEL MAR, Calif. - April 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA – The beginning of this week marked Logo TV’s tenth episode of the fifth season of Rupaul’s Drag Race, “Super Troopers” airing on Monday April 8, 2013.

“Super Troopers” features the remaining five contestants competing to become America’s next fabulous drag queen and winner of the grand prize including: a lifetime supply of Colorevolution Cosmetics, a one-of-a-kind trip, courtesy of AlandChuck.Travel, the honor of headlining the drag race tour, featuring Absolute Vodka; cocktails perfected and a “cash money honey” prize of $100,000.

Fresh from the elimination of fellow queen, Alyssa Edwards, the remaining five women relish in the excitement of being one step closer to realizing their dreams. But before they can get too comfortable, RuPaul bursts in with their first mini-challenge of the week; he’s taking the girls to- wait for it- Drag “Booty” Camp. For this challenge, Storm Newton from Barry’s Boot Camp gives the girls a good workout. Doing push-ups and jumping jacks in bras and heels, the girls are more than ready to quit and move on to the main event. In this challenge, each girl will be paired up with men who have gone through actual military boot camp, newly-out gay veterans. Each queen will then have the task of “dragifying” her partner and coming up with a “Color Guard” routine. Since Alaska won the “Booty” Camp mini-challenge, she gets to assign teams. She foolishly leaves the most conventionally pretty veteran for herself, a tactic rarely proven successful in Drag Race history.

The contestants quickly get to work, putting each of their partners through a condensed, drag queen boot camp of their own. With strategically applied Colorevolution makeup, most of the veterans turn out looking pretty darn good for it being their first time in drag; however, Coco’s veteran ends up looking less than womanly, but through no fault of his own. Coco’s lackluster makeup-applying skills come through as she turns her partner into the color of a pumpkin. And though Alaska’s partner is the prettiest of the veteran queens, his walk is still just a little too manly for the judge’s liking. In the end, Ru, along with celebrity guest judges, Clinton Kelly of TLC’s What Not to Wear and Fashion Police co-host, George Kotsiopoulos declare Roxxxy Andrews the winner, leaving Coco Montrese and Detox to lip sync for their lives. After four times in the bottom two, Coco runs out of energy to stay afloat, and she must sashay away.

In addition to Colorevolution being featured throughout the 5th season of RuPaul's Drag Race; IBG Laboratories, the makers of Colorevolution, is collaborating with RuPaul on specialized private-label items that will be coming in 2013.

Viewers can catch the race with Colorevolution and RuPaul on LOGO channel on Mondays 9/8pm Central.

With the release of the new TV show there will also be a new television advertising campaign featuring Colorevolution. The ad campaign will provide a few lucky winners with over $1200 worth of makeup and application training. Details to enter to win will be on the TV commercial to coincide with the airing of the show.
