Scanstrut launches NEW Rokk Range for mounting fishfinders and chartplotters

SOUTH PETHERTON, U.K. - April 10, 2013 - PRLog -- Renowned marine electronics specialist, Scanstrut Ltd, has launched a new range of adaptable, multi position mounts for installing fishfinders and chartplotters onboard a range of applications such as sail boats, power boats, sport fishing boats, sea kayaks, RIBs and any small watercraft.

Utilising its unrivalled expertise in design innovation and shock load data collated from a variety of boats, Scanstrut is able to manufacture with confidence, to meet the expected demands that boats face whilst on the water.

There are three models in the Rokk Range - Adjustable Deck Mount, Adjustable Rail Mount and Rail Mount. Each is a multi position mount designed to keep chartplotters, fishfinders and other small electronics safe and visible anywhere onboard your boat. The fully functional mounts allow for easy installation onto the helm, RIB console, fishing boat dashboard, nav station and more.

Each mount in the new Rokk series is precision engineered and manufactured from marine grade aluminium and anodised for a durable and impact resistant finish. 316 stainless steel fastenings ensure the mounts will remain secure and resistant to corrosion caused by exposure to sea water.

‘Set and forget!’ The Adjustable Deck Mount (£49.00 ex VAT) uses a unique metal on metal ball and socket system for a smooth, secure adjustment. This enables the user to leave the mount once installed, without the worry of loss of clamping force over time - even in the harshest of sailing conditions. To allow a quick fit the mount comes supplied with complete fixings for an easy installation. When needed, the mount can, with no trouble at all, be unlocked, repositioned, and locked again using a one handed quick release lever with minimal user effort.

The Rail Mount (£20.00 ex VAT), is a fixed option for direct installation onto a pushpit or pedestal rail from 25.4mm-33.7mm (1 inch – 1 ¼ inch) rail diameter. The product can even be fitted onto curved rails. Complete with additional fixings for a quick and easy installation, the Rail Mount can be angled during fitting for the best possible viewing angle.  

The Rail Mount and Adjustable Deck Mount are combined in the Adjustable Rail Mount (£61.50 ex VAT) option to offer a fully adjustable rail mounted product.
