Now more than ever it is hard to buy a property because of the current economic climate. Cities are more expensive to live in nowadays with London being one of the most expensive cities in the world. Here is a list of some of the top 25 most expensive place to live in the world in 2013;

15.. Vienna, Australia

13. Stockholm, Sweden

12. Tel Aviv, Israel

11. Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire

7. Geneva, Switzerland

6. Yokohoma, Japan

5. New York City, USA

Cities tend to be more expensive than the countryside these days and therefore if one is looking for more affordable housing then it is better to not head towards the cities, even though one will find some affordable homes in London. If money is a problem, they can visit an estate agent who will be able to find money saving schemes such as shared ownership housing in London and part rent part buy.
