BullsEye's Basa Voted Channel Partners Channel Executive

 
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - April 8, 2013 - PRLog -- National provider of integrated telecommunications solutions, BullsEye is proud to reveal that Channel Partners magazine, which focuses on the communications industry's indirect sales channel, announced that Tim Basa has been selected by readers as a finalist for Channel Executive of the Year.

Thanks to a three-way tie, this year's lineup features 11 finalists instead of 10. They all will be honored, and the winner revealed, during an awards ceremony on Feb. 27, at the Spring 2013 Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas. The 11 executives further will be featured in the May/June issue of Channel Partners magazine, as well as online.

"Each year's crop of Channel Executive of the Year finalists is distinguished," said Khali Henderson, editor-in-chief of Channel Partners magazine, a VIRGO Publishing property. "This year's roster stands out for the solid mix of newcomers and familiar names. Basa has been with BullsEye for a total of six years. In his role as Vice President of Sales, he focuses on customer acquisition and up-selling of the company’s voice, data, wireless, VoIP and managed services nationwide with particular emphasis in developing multi-location solutions. He continues to find success driving the development of direct, indirect sales channels as well as regional and national accounts.

As an industry veteran, Basa has 18 years sales and marketing experience in the telecommunications industry. He conducts trainings nationally and his articles appear online, in newsletters and magazines. Basa’s industry accolades include being selected as a Power Seller by Crain’s Detroit Business. Basa was also voted a finalist for Channel Executive of the Year in 2011.

To determine the Channel Executive of the Year, Channel Partners solicited nominations from channel partners. To be eligible, a nominee must have been the top person in the company’s channel operations — at the executive level of vice president or higher — at a communications vendor (network
operator/service provider/manufacturer). Qualified channel partners then cast their ballots for Channel Executive of the Year based on nominees’ leadership, longevity, innovation and contribution to the indirect channel.
