About the Con:

The H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival promotes the works of H.P. Lovecraft, literary horror, and weird tales through the cinematic adaptations by professional and amateur filmmakers. The festival was founded in 1995 by Andrew Migliore in the hope that H.P. Lovecraft would be rightly recognized as a master of gothic horror and his work more faithfully adapted to film and television. (from the website)

Bio on Jenna M. Pitman:
Jenna M. Pitman is a horror writer who is working on promoting more women writers in the horror genre! She lives in the Pacific Northwest and is an experienced panelist at science-fiction/fantasy/horror conventions. As a writer, Ms. Pitman’s work has been featured in The Seattle Sinner, Revenant Magazine, Planet Lovecraft, and Skewed and Reviewed. An animal lover as well as a horror writer, Ms. Pitman is currently working on a multi-media project around the theme of women and horror.
