Follow on Google News | "Iran in Context", a free World Affairs Forum Evening PresentationAll are invited to a free World Affairs Forum event, “Iran in Context”, with Dr. Erica Ehrenberg, Executive Director of the American Institute of Iranian Studies. Greenwich Library , 4/29/13, 7 pm.
Erica Ehrenberg, has served for the past decade as Executive Director of the American Institute of Iranian Studies. The American Institute of Iranian Studies is a non-profit consortium of US universities and museums, founded in 1967, to promote the interdisciplinary study of Iranian civilization and US-Iran dialogue. It serves as the main conduit for academic and cultural exchange between Iran and the US. Ehrenberg draws on her study of the long history of Persia to foster person-to-person connections and mutual understanding between the US and Iran. She holds a BA from Yale University and a PhD in Near Eastern art and archaeology from the Institute of Fine Arts, NYU. There is no charge for this program, which will begin at 7:00 pm.
