Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development on 26 March 2013. The company's stand was visited by an large number of students who were eager to explore recruitment opportunities in the region's booming structured cabling industry.

Commenting on the company's role as a key sponsor of the event, Jean-Pierre Labry, Executive Vice-President of R&M Middle East, Turkey and Africa said, “This is the now the second time that we have participated in PSUAD's Astrolabe career forum. Once again the response has been overwhelming and we have been impressed by the enthusiasm and eagerness of the students.”

“We are extremely proud to have sponsored this successful event. At R&M, we strongly feel that interacting with the professional of tomorrow is a highly rewarding experience that helps us give something back to the community. The fact that we were presented with such a large number of CVs is an indication of the positive impact of our participation,” said Mr. Labry.

This resulted in a number of inquiries at the company's stand from students hoping to be recruited by the cabling specialist.

This is the third year that Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi has conducted the Astrolabe Career Forum which drew participation from 45 organizations and companies from over 20 industry verticals.
