Andy Dick's Son On Unemployment

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - March 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Lucas Dick, son of Dancing With The Stars underdog Andy Dick is currently starring in new sitcom pilot titled Unemployment created by David Katz.

Unemployment is an absurd workplace comedy about a twenty-something college grad (played by Lucas Dick) who applies for unemployment benefits and begrudgingly ends up working at the employment office instead.

Writer/Producers, David Katz and Nicole Carbonetta penned the pilot episode.  “Seinfeld” director Tom Cherones and other notable directors have expressed interest to direct the series.

The series Producers have turned to the public to fund the Unemployment sitcom pilot's micro production budget through Kickstarter.com with the goal of the show becoming the next hit primetime original series on a VOD platform like Netflix or Hulu.  Besides a clever concept for a sitcom, what makes this project special is the fact that the Producers are casting performers with disabilities in several co-starring roles in the series.
