Christmas label turns bedtime into fun time

March 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Christmas jumper label Crazy Granny received a surprise during its recent exhibition at MODA, which saw demand for its AW13 range of children’s themed pyjamas match its famous woolly designs which have taken the UK by storm.

Although the new range of jumpers continued to attract a number of department store clients including Bentalls, Fenwicks and The Hut Group, the fun selection of children’s dress up pyjamas caused a new stir all of their own.

With outfits designed to reflect all kinds of occupations and interests from firemen to pilots and pirates to fairies, they’re guaranteed to turn bedtime into fun time.

The quality and originality of the range caught the eye of several department store buyers and online suppliers, with several thousand units being sold over the last three months, for an October delivery.

Inspired by director and co-founder Rafael Fernandez, the pyjamas came about through his childrens’ reluctance to go to bed each evening.  “We created a one off piece for my four year old”, he says: “And ever since then he can’t wait to put his pyjamas on each evening.  This led us to wonder whether specific pyjamas could have the same effect on other children. Even we were truly surprised however, by the demand indicated at MODA and from this, we anticipate that “fancy dress pyjamas” will share the same popularity as last year’s “onesie” and our now traditional Christmas jumpers.

The 100% cotton, machine washable pyjamas come in 11 designs including Spiderman, pilot, pirate, soldier, fireman, fairy, policeman, postman, builder, bananas and cowboy.
