Follow on Google News | NAAFA Releases "Schedule of Events" for its 2013 Annual Convention & Expo!NAAFA, the preeminent civil rights organization working to end discrimination against people of large body size, has unveiled its convention schedule, which includes some notable changes.
By: NAAFA This year's convention, "Promoting Equality: All Sizes Welcome!" will include some notable additions, including: • Featured keynote speakers • Gaming party hosted by the Westin Las Vegas • Costume party • Awards ceremony "Promoting Equality: All Sizes Welcome!" is the preeminent event for size diversity advocates from across North America, including Canada and worldwide. NAAFA has a tradition of using educational convention sessions as a platform for innovation in the areas of diversity, size acceptance activism and nondiscrimination practices and policies. "We're building upon the events that have made previous conventions successful, and fun," said Peggy Howell, NAAFA's spokeswoman and Convention Committee Member. "Las Vegas is a great entertainment location, and the 2013 NAAFACon will reflect what makes our host city so special. We've released a schedule of events that balances strong educational content with fun, network-oriented activities for our convention attendees."
