After evaluating CARA and D2 to replace Documentum Webtop, Sargento selects CARA
PRINCETON, N.J. - March 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Generis Knowledge Management Inc today announced that Sargento, leaders in Consumer Products, Food Service, Food Ingredients and Culinary Solutions, selected the Generis CARA product as the user interface for Documentum, to replace Webtop.
“We did a comparison of Documentum D2 vs. CARA to replace Webtop and found CARA to be far superior in the features our users, as well as our IT department and Documentum Administrators, value”, says Barb Buschmann, IT Director at Sargento. “We then did an extensive POC with Generis to prove out our initial observations. In addition to a very robust, stable, and highly configurable product, there were two other things that tipped the scales dramatically in favor of CARA. One was the responsiveness of Generis to suggestions for enhancements and the remarkable turn-around time in which we were given the updates for testing purposes. The other was just how pleasurable it was to work with a company like Generis where we felt valued as a customer. When we demoed CARA to our user focus groups, an overwhelming majority of participants recommended we move ahead with the purchase and stated they looked forward to working with this new tool. “
