Follow on Google News | Environment Furniture Joins International Documentarian in Saving North America's Last RainforestBy: www.wheretheroadendsfilm.com Right now, the rainforest is facing a very certain and immediate end as drug cartels and timber companies illegally raze the final 62 miles of road-less jungle. The filmmaker's intent is to expose the illegal destruction and killing occurring daily, and the sustainable alternatives that must be implemented in order to protect this last untouched corner of North American rainforest, located at the end of the Pan-American Highway in Panama. Becherovka Liquer provided all of the cocktails for the event, as the attendees were presented with a preview of footage from the upcoming documentary. After the trailer, there was a short Q&A with the filmmaker. The rest of the evening was filled with people getting to know Zeb and their fellow conservationists, as they sipped their libations and peruses the incredible silent auction items on display. Some of the highlights of the auction were a beechwood and repurposed army tent chair and handmade maple lamp by Environment Furniture, a custom pair of SkiLogik skis, a pro model Quiksilver surfboard, a beautiful wooden snowboard from Arbor, romantic dinners at “The Hart and the Hunter,” belts and boots from HTC Hollywood Trading Company, and an assortment of locally-made fine jewelry. Due to the success of the Los Angeles event, Environment Furniture has invited the “Where The Road Ends” team to hold two more events at their Orange County and New York City showrooms (dates to come).
