LAUSD School Board President Mónica García will be canvassing voters door to door for her re-election and available for interview, Tuesday, March 5th.

LOS ANGELES, CA – The Mónica García get out the vote (GOTV) effort for her “Kids First” campaign is in high gear heading into tomorrow’s election.  “This will be an exciting day as we culminate two months of hard work reaching out to thousands of voters,” said Campaign Manager Javier González.

Mónica García will be available via phone throughout the day.  Interested media outlets can accompany her as she walks precincts and calls voters on Election day.

Excited about the opportunity to continue the work of putting kid’s first and transforming LAUSD, Mónica’s volunteers created a video of an exuberant (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWzl-FdtAyE) kick off to the GOTV weekend.

The Mónica García team will watch the results and celebrate the hard work on election night at the http://monica4schoolboard.comcampaign headquarters at 1260 S. Soto #16 in the Boyle Heights area of Los Angeles.

§  Election results will be broadcast at 9pm.

§  Mónica García to address crowd near 10pm.
