Confidence in Las Vegas Market with purchase of Echelon Property

March 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Exciting news for Las Vegas, Boyd gaming has announced they are selling the jumbo 87 acre partially completed Echelon property located on the Las Vegas North strip.  The buyer, Genting Ghd. out of Kuala Lumpur is excited to bring the "World Casino"  Brand to Las Vegas.

No financial details about the tranaction have been released yet. Genting, formed in 1965, has interests in five publicly traded companies  with a combined market  value of 46 billion.  

World Casino has casinos around the world including the lucrative New York Race Track casino which was the countries top slot revenue producer, with a take of $638 million last year.

Genting plans to lure the Asian gambler to Vegas with its World Casino brand well known in Singapore.  

Also in the works on the North Las Vegas Strip  is the remodeling of the Sahara Hotel, a 400 million project.

Recently, the City Center, Veer Towers Condo Towers were sold to a New York investment firm, which immediately started a new sales strategy for its luxury high rise condos and is placing numerous units under contract.
