Feb. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Energy efficiency must improve in businesses as well as in homes says burner manufacturer Nu-way.

Energy watchdog Ofgem has warned householders to prepare for higher gas prices as power plants close, foreign gas supplies shrink and increasing demand tightens the British energy market.

Jonathan Farmer, Nu-way’s Process Sales Manager believes the UK process industry must also take heed, and do all it can to keep on top of managing energy efficiency. “Plenty of businesses rely on heat to provide services and goods that consumers use every day,” said Jonathan.

“Take breakfast cereal as an example, it is produced through the industrial processes of drying and toasting. This requires heat from a burner - we supply process burners to optimise energy usage and systems. This goes a long way in keeping the wheels of industry turning.”

Nu-way’s range of process burners have outputs from 20kW up to 20MW, and are used in the manufacturing process of bricks, food, glass, steel, paper, chemicals, textiles, aggregates and minerals.
