Tybee Diskin Is a Quantum Mechanic

Feb. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- 8 Sided Films is proud to announce the attachment of actor and producer Tybee Diskin as the star of upcoming science-fiction heist movie Quantum Theory.  Diskin is best known for her role as Scarlett in the webseries "Fallout: Nuka Break", inspired by the popular video game franchise.  "Tybee Diskin has the comic timing, the relaxed intelligence, and the commitment to her craft of Hollywood legend Jack Lemmon," explains writer/director Tennyson E. Stead. "Our script requires the craft of an accomplished classical actor, and the relaxed delivery of today's most celebrated modern independent films.  Finding an actor who can lead our accomplished cast into production on Quantum Theory has been a challenge, and I am proud and delighted to present Tybee Diskin to our audience in the role of particle physicist Chelsea Barrington."

Quantum Theory is the story of two brilliant, snarky women of science who develop a prototype with the power to alter reality... until it’s snatched from under them by LDI, a ruthless and powerful defense contractor.  With reality itself under the control of a corporate military superpower, can Chelsea and Roe take back their technology and their world?

Stead is the award-winning writer/director of recent science-fiction webseries “The Starmind Record” and upcoming Los Angeles theater production “The Bachelor” starring fellow 8 siders Gerard Marzilli and Katelyn Myer. Tybee Diskin is now in development on Season Two of "Fallout: Nuka Break".
