| Tesco Commission 3D Studio To Help Secure Planning Permission on Dublin SiteTesco have commissioned 3rd Dimension Studios to work with them along side their project architects on securing planning permission for a proposed new retail development in Dublin.
By: 3rd Dimension Studios The proposed store is being planned for a very well known, but currently undisclosed, location in Dublin and is part of an overall area development plan for the region. If given the green light it will most certainly contribute to job creation both for the construction stage of the project and when it opens. However getting it through planning is the first hurdle and one of the reasons why 3rd Dimension Studios have been commissioned to work on the scheme. "Our work is an invaluable part of the planning process" says Nicholas Polley, MD of 3rd Dimension Studios. " Through the production of accurate and photorealistic photomontages (http://www.3rddimension.ie/ 3rd Dimension are no strangers to helping Tesco secure planning. Only a couple of months ago their work helped secure planning for a sensitive proposed store in Cavan town. "We have worked with Tesco for many years now and over the course of this time we have contributed greatly to their planning applications. We are very proud that our work has helped them secure planning for a large number of stores around the country" says Nicholas. Companies like 3rd Dimension Studios tend to be the last wheel in the cog when it comes to the submission of the planning application. This of course means added pressure as they are required to work to unmovable and ambitious deadlines sometimes only receiving the required information at the eleventh hour. This is certainly the case for this project which needs to be turned around in about one week. "There is a huge amount of work required in the production of the necessary photomontages and 3D renders for this scheme. What makes it even tougher is that due to certain planning stipulations the deadline cannot be moved. Yes the deadline is ambitious, yes we are under huge pressure, but we will do what ever it takes to produce the necessary 3D work to be included in the planning pack. It's a challenge but one that we will rise to. We have a great 3D team consisting of 3D Cad experts and 3D artists and when a project of this nature comes along we batten down the hatches and get it done without compromising on quality” -NP The planning application will be submitted in the coming week and it will be an interesting application to follow. We will be seeing another Tesco store soon? Watch this space. If you have a planning application that requires the expertise of 3rd Dimension Studios and the production of photo montages (http://www.3rddimension.ie/ End
