Biamp Hires Amber James to Join the Marketing Team as Copywriter

In her role as Copywriter, Amber will be responsible for capturing the Biamp Voice and brand personality by writing compelling copy for marketing and product initiatives including press releases, white papers, case studies, and video scripts. In addition to lending her skills to the development of the voice of Biamp, she will also manage various writing projects.

“I’m thrilled that Amber will be joining the marketing team,” said Kristi Swearingen, Creative Services Manager at Biamp. Everything she’s written for us so far has been professional, edgy, and exactly what we need. Her work will be an integral part of Biamp’s creative direction.”

Amber has been working with the team on contract since August 2012. Having begun her freelance copywriting career in 2008, Amber has worked with a wide range of clients from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies in the roles of copywriter, editor, and content strategy lead. In addition to writing industry and company-specific copy, her responsibilities included research, collaboration with web and graphic designers, and all aspects of business development, sales, and marketing.

“I’ve been freelancing for so long,” Amber said, “that I couldn’t believe it when I was offered the position. There’s a lot to be said for the freelance lifestyle, but I missed being a part of a team–developing project after project that told a story well and was a credit to the company.
