U-TECK Donates $5,000 to the Fisher House Foundation

Fayetteville, NC.-based manufacturer/supplier’s contribution will directly benefit the Fisher House at the Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, N.C.

U-TECK’s contribution will go directly to helping the Fort Bragg location provide temporary housing for military families while active duty and retired service members are receiving medical care at the Womach Army Medical Center.

Lorie Southerland, operations assistant for the Fort Bragg Fisher House, said, “The Fisher House runs solely on donations, so every contribution goes a long way in making a big difference in the lives of soldiers and their families. On behalf of the Fisher House Foundation, I’d like to thank U-TECK for its generosity.”

The Fisher House Foundation, Inc., is a not-for-profit best known for its network of comfort homes built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers.Since its inception in 1990, the Fisher House Foundation has served more than 160,000 families, offered over 4 million lodging days, and saved families more than $192 million in lodging and transportation costs. In 2012, the Fort Bragg Fisher House alone provided housing to 253 families.
