Simply Elegant Wedding Showcase Returns to Oak Park

Feb. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Meet award-winning Chicago wedding professionals at the Fourth Annual Simply Elegant Wedding Showcase on Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the historic Pleasant Home mansion in Oak Park, Illinois.

Simply Elegant is a unique wedding show where brides can interact with acclaimed wedding experts, enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and cake samples, win prizes, and, above all, take part in the showcase’s popular wedding workshops.

“Simply Elegant’s friendly atmosphere allows brides to actually talk with vendors rather than just grab masses of brochures,” said Camille McLamb, founder of Camille Victoria Weddings LLC and exhibitor at the showcase. “Our goal is that brides have a great time but also leave armed with helpful wedding planning information.”

This year's showcase will include a full lineup of wedding planning workshops on such topics as invitation tips and tricks, insider secrets to planning, bridal makeup advice, and more.

“The wedding workshops are the most unique aspect of the wedding showcase,” said Molly Schemper, owner of FIG Catering and this year’s event organizer. “Brides hopefully are able to check off some tasks from their wedding to-do list and learn useful tips in the process.”

Exhibitors at the showcase will include specialists in wedding flowers, invitations, custom accessories, photography, videography, catering, wedding coordination, music, and more.

Pleasant Home is one of Oak Park's famed prairie-style mansions, providing a beautiful setting for the wedding showcase.  It is located at 217 South Home Avenue, Oak Park, Illinois 60302.
