Advisory: Feb 5- National Report on Hidden Risks to School Children

"Towards Healthy Schools 2015" state by state data and policy report from Coalition for Healthier Schools urges swifter federal and state actions to address environmental hazards that impact kids health and learning.
 
Feb. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- Leading members of the Coalition will present the report to members of the Obama  Administration and the Congress. Also release a letter to Congress urging full funding for US EPA child health and voluntary schools-focused programs which have been successful in helping schools, personnel, parents and communities reduce risks to health, learning, and productivity.  Also urged, public health services for children in harm's way.

National Association of School Nurses
Association of School Business Officials
National Education Association- Healthy Schools Caucus
Advocates from 18 states, including Rhode Island, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Indiana, California, Oregon, Maine

Signatories to the letter to Congress include the above, in addition to various Tribal Nations, occupational health coalitions, PTAs, state and national environment and public health groups.
